
RBC Names Co-CEOs for European Arm as Bank Pushes Growth Push
RBC has installed Sian Hurrell and Robin Beer as joint chief executives of its UK banking and brokerage arm, tasking the pair with speeding up growth across its European business.
RBC has named Sian Hurrell and Robin Beer as Co-CEOs of RBC Europe Limited (RBCEL), the bank's UK-based banking and brokerage arm, effective July 7, 2026. The two will jointly lead RBCEL while continuing to hold their existing roles at the bank, with a mandate to accelerate growth across RBC's European operations.
Hurrell brings 13 years at RBC Capital Markets, most recently serving as head of Capital Markets Europe and head of global sales and relationship management. Beer joined RBC through its £1.6 billion acquisition of UK wealth manager Brewin Dolphin in 2022, where he had served as CEO.
