Questrade Rebrands App, Adds AI-Driven 'Flows' Automation and Chatbot Account Links
Questrade is renaming its app and adding an AI automation tool called Flows, plus direct account connectivity with Claude and ChatGPT, as part of a broader July 29 rollout.
Rebrand folds banking, investing under one app
Questrade is retiring the Questmobile name. Starting July 29, 2026, the app becomes the Questrade app, unifying the company's investing, banking, borrowing and spending products under a single brand.
Alongside the rename, Questrade launched Flows, which it calls Canada's first native financial automation engine. The tool lets clients describe a strategy in plain language, and the platform builds and executes it. The company is also opening connectivity between client accounts and outside AI assistants, including Claude and ChatGPT — a step Questrade says makes it the first Canadian financial institution to offer that link directly.
Fee cut and new perks included
The changes bundle a pricing cut with new loyalty-style benefits as Questrade positions itself around AI-driven automation. As with any new financial tool, readers should review terms directly with Questrade before relying on automated features tied to their accounts.
- U.S.-listed equity options: per-contract fees eliminated
- Questrade Plus: 1% RRSP match added as a perk
- Questrade Plus: early access to pre-IPO offerings added as a perk
